Hello Reader,
Before winter officially begins, I wanted to check in. Scroll down to for restorative tips for this holiday season.
If your body feels a little stiffer…
If your energy feels lower…
If your nervous system feels tired from doing all the things…
You’re not behind. You’re human.
I’ll share something personal:
I’ve been a little M.I.A. on purpose.
This season, I’ve been practicing something that didn’t come easily at first: rest without guilt.
More time with family.
More time lying on the couch under my heated blanket watching Christmas movies.
Binge-watching shows I’ve avoided for years because I “didn’t have time.”
I recently told a group of women that I honestly couldn’t remember the last time I sat or laid on the couch on purpose just to watch a movie. That changed this month.
And you know what happened?
My nervous system softened.
My thinking became clearer.
My body felt safer.
Rest is not laziness, it’s regulation.
Tips coming up....keep scrolling.

Over the past week, I’ve been sharing simple, realistic wellness reminders daily on Instagram as part of my 🎄 12 Days of Wellness—because health during the holidays doesn’t need to be extreme or perfect.
Here are the first five days, in case you missed them:
🎄 DAY 1 — The 5-Minute Reset
Feeling stiff? Move for just 5 minutes. Your joints will thank you.
Try: hip circles, cat-cow, chest openers.
🎄 DAY 2 — Hydration Helps Your Joints
Dehydration = stiffness + fatigue.
Tip: Drink about ½ your body weight (lbs) in ounces of water—yes, even in winter.
🎄 DAY 3 — Strength = Pain Prevention
Strength saves your back.
Just 2–3 short strength sessions per week can reduce aches.
Try: squats, rows, bridges, pushups.
🎄 DAY 4 — Mobility Over Tension
Cold weather tightens everything.
Stiff doesn’t mean broken—it often means guarded.
Do:3 minutes of mobility today.
🎄 DAY 5 — Mindful Holiday Eating
Enjoy the meal. No guilt—just balance.
Tip:½ veggies • ¼ protein • ¼ starch
One small action for today:
Pick one of these and do it gently—no pressure, no perfection.
As we move through the rest of the year, I hope you don’t lose sight of the reason for this season—especially if you’re a mom trying to make everything feel magical.
It’s about connection.
Fellowship.
Community.
Gratitude.
The busy work can wait.
If you need support—or just want to check in—you can reply “CHECK-IN.” I’d love to hear how you’re doing.
With care,
Natasha
