Peri-Menopause, Joint Pain & Inflammation: Let’s Talk

February Nutrition & Mobility Challenge Starts Monday

A simple 4-week reset to reduce joint pain, stiffness, and inflammation — without overhauling your life

Hello Reader,

I want to be honest with you for a moment.

Since the start of the year, I’ve already had two doctor’s appointments — my annual wellness visit and my gynecologist. I’m 47, and I’ve officially been classified as peri-menopausal.

And even as a physical therapist who strength trains regularly, I’m still navigating hormonal shifts that affect my joints, recovery, and overall inflammation.

Here’s what many women aren’t told:

As we approach peri-menopause, collagen in the body changes. That impacts joint stiffness, soreness, and how we recover. It’s not just “getting older.” It’s biology.

And while joint pain may be the first thing you notice, heart health, inflammation, and energy levels are changing during this stage too.

I’ve heard so many of you say:

  • “I feel stiff all the time”
  • “My joints ache and I don’t know what to do”
  • “I don’t want to stop moving, but I’m afraid of making it worse”

This is exactly why I created the February Nutrition & Mobility Challenge, starting Monday, February 2, 2026.

What You’ll Get Inside the Challenge

Here’s what I see every January:
